The 11^th annual gift of the Rick Kauzlarich Special Talents Fund will be awarded in June. Rick was particularly interested in art of all kinds and projects with the youth of the congregation.

 

To be eligible for this gift, recipients must be under 22 years of age and involved in activities sponsored by Our Savior Lutheran church such as the school, youth group, or music program. College students away from Our Savior can be involved in Christian outlets at campus or in the community. The gift is to be used to enhance the recipient’s talents in the fine arts area (visual or performing arts) which can be used in the work to further the Kingdom of God in the church and community. It can be applied toward private lessons, study camps, or educational assistance.

 

Anyone may nominate a recipient for this gift but in order to be considered, applicants must submit a completed Application form with the following:

 

(1)   A Student Essay

(2)   A Christian Character Reference from their pastor, youth leader or teacher attesting to the Christian character of the applicant

(3)   A Talent Reference from teachers, coaches, community leaders or other adult mentors
