Photo of Church

Our Savior Lutheran Church and School has served the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia areas for over 50 years. We are a congregation of over 600 members and are affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. We offer many opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and serve the community both near and far.

We are especially proud of our expanded Day School, which offers a Christian education for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Our education program is accredited, and we offer one of the best values in private education in the Washington D.C. area. Some scholarship and tuition assistance funds are available.

Greetings from the Pastor:

FELLOW TRAVELERS

The best journeys I have ever taken were BEST because of the people by my side. Walking home from elementary school—my neighbor Al would make it a game. That 20-mile hike in scouts—it was Ralph and Kevin who kept my spirits up. As beautiful as the Montana wilderness was during a three day float trip—memories of the laughs around the campfire and my wife, Heather, by my side are what I count most precious. Some journeys are unfortunate and undesired. We have all been down some difficult roads. When the journey is more difficult, when the path is bordered by heartbreak—fellow travelers make all the difference!
Walking in the Way of the Lord at Our Savior—we are ALL FELLOW TRAVELERS! Come and find joy for the journey, encouragement in the valley, and hope that makes all the difference in this world and the next!
Join us at Our Savior and become a FELLOW TRAVELER with me!
